Dr. Luke Soletic

Dr. Luke Soletic is a board-certified oral surgeon in New York City. Dr. Soletic earned his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he developed a strong interest in oral surgery early on. His fascination with the field’s complex procedures and problem-solving nature continued throughout his education. He went on to complete his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Bellevue/NYU-Langone Hospital Centers, a rigorous 6-year program. During this time, he also earned a medical degree, obtained a 1-year certificate in general surgery, and served as chief resident in his final year. His comprehensive training included experience in a wide array of surgical areas, such as dento-alveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, pathology, TMJ disorders, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, pediatric surgery, cosmetic procedures, and ambulatory anesthesia.

Dr. Soletic’s skills were further refined when he was selected by the Osteo Science Foundation for a specialized rotation with a leading expert in bone augmentation and dental implants. During his residency, he presented research at various industry conferences, published in peer-reviewed journals, and attended numerous professional symposia.

He achieved board certification in his first year after residency, becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). Dedicated to continuous learning, Dr. Soletic regularly participates in educational courses and seminars to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of oral surgery. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge by participating in resident training part-time.

Dr. Soletic is known for his compassionate, personalized approach to patient care, emphasizing collaboration with referring dentists. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (NYSSOMS), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and the American Medical Association (AMA). He also holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

A native of New York City, Dr. Soletic grew up in Queens. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys following baseball and hockey, fishing, playing tennis, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
